Following on from Tempest work on raising awareness of Government grants we are pleased to announce a new funding scheme for training programs in and around North West Leicestershire.

This scheme will help anybody looking to obtain the tools of web design, marketing and promotion in a no-nonsense business-orientated way. Taught by some of the best designers in the midlands you will gain full knowledge of the basics of web design, from registering your domain name to uploading your website in practical and hands on sessions to fit around your current business needs.

Here is an example of a typical days training we offer, though naturally the day will be customised around your current knowledge and specific requirements.

• Domain and hosting made easy - We give you the tools to register your domain name, and decode the confusing aura of hosting.

• Photoshop - We will teach you how to master the designing tools of Photoshop.

• Page Layout and designing - We will show you how web pages should be arranged and talk you through the various design options that work.

• Images - This will show you how to use images and photo's on your website and explain all the confusing photo formats.

• Search Engine Optimization - How to build a search engine friendly website, which will score high on search engine rankings.

• Uploading a website - Finally we will show you how to upload your website, explaining all the FTP (File Transfer Protocol) software.
